WRMA Assists Louisiana Department of Social Services in Modernization, Streamlining, and Restructuring
WRMA, working with First Data Corporation, has been awarded a major contract to provide project management office (PMO) services to the State of Louisiana Department of Social Services (DSS) OneDSS initiative. OneDSS will streamline, modernize, and reorganize the entire department to serve the state’s vulnerable citizens by integrating and aligning services, staff, and information systems. Through OneDSS, the state’s child welfare, child support enforcement, child care, TANF, supplemental nutrition, and disaster assistance programs will become a unified, outcome driven and evidence-based service delivery system. The PMO is responsible for providing project management and supporting federal advance planning documentation, requests for proposals, communications, community partner outreach, training, business process reengineering, mentoring, data collection and analysis, organizational change management, issue and risk management, scope management, and organizational modeling.
