WRMA Presents to Colleagues at the American Evaluation Association’s Annual Conference

WRMA staff members Carolyn Lichtenstein, Lois Ritter, and Katrina Bledsoe presented at the American Evaluation Association’s Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida November 11-14, 2009.

Ritter and colleagues presented, in poster form, “Surveymonkey and Zoomerang: How Do You Choose Which One to Use?”. Ritter was also featured in the conference’s “Meet the Authors” opening session, during which her co-authored books Multicultural Health and Conducting Online Surveys were showcased.

Addressing the conference theme of “Context and Evaluation,” Lichtenstein and Bledsoe hosted a panel entitled, "Context Matters: Conducting Evaluations in Federal, State, and Local Government Funding Source Environments". The panel brought together professional evaluators of local, state, and federal government initiatives, and focused on the strengths and challenges associated with conducting evaluations in each of these contexts. Office of Personnel Management’s Dr. Kimberly Wells, Lead Research Psychologist of the Work/Life/Wellness Group served as discussant.
