WRMA has extensive experience with evaluation design and survey data collection. Our particular expertise is in the areas of complex sampling strategies, locating and recruiting hard-to-reach populations, constructing pilot testing forms and questionnaires, and training and enlisting the support of program staff in evaluation protocols. We have designed a number of scientifically sound evaluations at the national, state, and local levels. These efforts have included multiple data collection methods to both accurately describe the population and make empirical statements about association or causation between exposure or service usage and outcomes.
Examples of our Evaluation Research Design work includes:
- The National Evaluation of the Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children and Their Families Program (CMHI)
- Families for Kids Initiative, Policy Analysis and Cluster Evaluation
- California Family Preservation Evaluation
- Quality Improvement Center on Differential Response in Child Protective Services (QIC-DR)
- Supporting Partnership to Assure Ready Kids (SPARK) and Ready Kids Follow-Up
- Market Rate Survey of Child Care Centers and Family Home Providers in Washington State
